Thousands of kits, millions of masks and a team of specialist doctors are arriving in Pakistan today from China to control the Coronavirus, the Foreign Office said.
The Foreign Office says China is helping Pakistan in its efforts to control the Coronavirus; China has so far provided 12,000 test kits, 3 million masks, and 10 thousand protective suits, and the Chinese government has raised $ 4 million. We have also set up a separate hospital for the
virus.
The spokesman said that the Chinese government is sending relief goods to deal with the Coronavirus, relief goods will arrive at Islamabad International Airport today by special aircraft, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Foreign Secretary will receive relief goods.
According to the Foreign Office spokesman, an eight-member team of Chinese doctors comprising Corona specialists will also arrive in Islamabad. The team of Chinese doctors will spend two weeks in Pakistan. Chinese doctors will advise Pakistani medical experts in light of their experiences.
According to the Foreign Office spokesman, Chinese doctors will tell how China succeeded in getting coronary control, the Chinese medical team will also bring medical supplies from China to strengthen our capacity.
He further said that the Xinjiang government has provided 50,000 masks to the Sindh government while the money donated from China through private sources has reached Pakistan.
He says that Alibaba Foundation and Jake Ma Foundation donated 50,000 test kits and 5 million masks, China has provided 2 tonnes of masks, test kits, ventilators and medical protective clothing worth Rs 67 million.
It is thought that the third batch of protective equipment has arrived in Karachi today to protect the Coronavirus from China.
